How we use apps to make life easy

At Bolt Gigs, we’ve learned that event staffing needs to adapt to our workers’ needs. In order to make it easy for all of our event staff to sign up for events, we use Shiftgig. Shiftgig isn’t the only app out there but we prefer it because it’s efficient and functional.

One of our workers in the D.C. area commented on using the app. As a college student, she finds that “Working for Bolt Gigs is great for many reasons, but their mobile system for claiming shifts really stands out. All I have to do is open the Shiftgig app to view the work opportunities that I am qualified for. Without even scrolling I can see how much money I will make, where the event is located, and who I need to ask for when I get there.”

 

Her appreciation is shared by our own employee, Danielle, who coordinates Shiftgig on our end. She highlights how easy the app is to use and how it puts all of the information that we need in one place: “Shiftgig provides a user-friendly way for Bolt Gigs to manage the front office functions of a hospitality staffing agency. We can post shifts, approve timesheets, send dispatch and reminder notifications, and manage our workforce all in one location.”

In general, apps are a really convenient way to connect people. After all, that’s our job— connecting workers to clients and making events run smoothly.
